Minister of Reconciliation
"Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God."
2 Corinthians 5:18-20 (NKJV)

Although I am not an ordained minister and have not been to seminary, there is a biblical call for all believers to operate in the capacity of reconciliation. I can recall being stationed overseas in Japan when I first learned that I am not just a sailor, much less, I don't only represent myself, but that I am a US Ambassador by way of my decision to join the ranks. Likewise, my decision for Christ makes me an ambassador for Him and it is my duty and heart's mission that I make Jesus known in humbleness and with kindness.

Where I Stand
Where I Stand is a social and religious podcast where we explore issues in America's culture through the lens of a Christian framework from a black perspective. ​
Cultural issues tend to be divisive and to take a stance in favor of or against a particular subject is the social equivalent to severing one of your limbs. There has to be a way to address the woes of society without excommunicating friends, family and neighbors in the process. ​
As Ministers of Reconciliation we believe the impetus of reconciling people to their fellow man is found in the passage of scripture that is part of Jesus' 'Sermon on the Mount' in Matthew 5:23-25.
Where I Stand is an attempt to reconcile man to his fellow man by exploring issues in America's culture through the lens of a Christian framework from a black perspective. Will you stand with us?
